Scratch-Resistant Coating

The plastic lenses are easily subjected and exposed to scratches, whether from dropping glasses on the floor or occasionally cleaning them with a paper towel. That is why surface treatments such as scratch-resistant coating ensure you the durability of lenses and reduce abrasions.

Anti-Reflective (AR)

Anti-reflective treatments (also known as anti-glare coating) provide better vision for night driving and more comfortable vision for reading and computer use. This multilayer coating that eliminates reflection and glare help to reduce eye fatigue. It is cosmetically desirable since the wearer's eyes are clearly visible behind the lenses.

Water repellent Treatment

Water repellent coating prevents water collecting and repels water droplets of the lenses. The water rolls into small droplets and slides off the lens with ease. With ordinary lenses water spreads and sticks to the surface. A water resistant treatment makes lens cleaning quicker and easier.

Ultraviolet Treatment

It is not the dark tint that is important. Plastic lenses need to have a UV coating applied. Sunglasses that do not filter UV light may actually put your eyes at greater risk because pupils may remain larger, thus allowing more unfiltered UV rays to enter.Overexposure to ultraviolet light is thought to be a cause of cataracts, retinal damage and other eye problems. Our “UV400” Protection Coating blocks 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. This coating can be applied to both clear and sunglasses lenses.
